About Chaya:
Chaya is a Jerusalem-based spiritual teacher, psychotherapist, writer and performance artist. As co-director of the Shalev Center for Jewish Personal Growth, she also trains and facilitates ongoing women's groups and teaches regular classes in the Jerusalem area and on her annual tours to North America.
Chaya holds an Ivy League BA in Religious & Jewish Studies, and an MA in Clinical Psychology. She also did extensive doctoral work on the theme of “Experiential Torah Learning” at Oxford University in England.
Throughout all of her work, Chaya reveals how ancient Jewish wisdom can be deeply relevant and readily applicable to our 21st-century lives. Synthesizing Jewish wisdom, psychology and the arts, Chaya has sculpted an innovative approach to personal transformation & healing.
